ED TV is an education content provider established in 2015 by Trish Hurley.
ED TV delivers live, interactive student lessons and teacher professional development workshops via videoconference.
WORKSHOPS FOR STUDENTS
Classroom teachers – select a single video conference session or a series of tutorials for your students to enrich your daily teaching program.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR TEACHERS
Principals and teachers – participate in BOSTES accredited professional development workshops to enhance and develop teaching skills and knowledge and fulfil the requirements of 50 hours of accredited professional development.
Professional development workshops, if not BOSTES accredited, are curriculum specific and designed to supplement teaching programs across all learning stages and key learning areas, and can be nominated as part of the 50 hours of teacher- identified professional development.
Teachers have the option of participating individually, as part of a whole school workshop or with a group of schools in regional development program. Some workshops provide follow-up online programs and/or on-going resource material.
ED TV works in partnership with CONNECTIONS at the New South Wales Department of Education and Communities (NSW DEC) Distance And Rural Technologies (DART) unit. DART CONNECTIONS provides and co-ordinates video conferencing excursions for DEC schools, TAFEs and non DEC schools.
